Proverbs 19:21 – Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Are you wondering what is God’s plan for your life?
God has placed you where you are right now for a reason.
You can read my story here, where my plan was overridden by Gods plan, and while it didn’t make sense back then – it does now.
God’s plans are way better than our plans, because we don’t get to see the full picture, we are so focussed on our short term goals. But when God’s full plan is revealed to us, that’s when we realise how great our God is.
Until then it is a battle to push through and walk through all the challenges in life.
Accepting God’s Will
In the powerful Lords prayer that many of us often use in prayer, it so clearly mentions thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
It can be a challenge to accept God’s will even when we are hurting because the burden may seem too heavy to bear. But God sees the full picture and the outcome of our situation. So trusting in Him and His will, we allow God to use us according to His plan.
The bible is the living word of God that we often refer to for reassurance and comfort. God will do what He said and His word is true.
Gods Plan vs My Plan
We need to accept and trust Gods plan in our life. It might not always align with our plan.
But there is a reason why things have shaped up the way they are. I hope that these powerful bible verses below help restore your faith in God’s plan for your life.
