Our Heavenly Father, is a God who will provide a way out, when there seems none.

He is is a God who will provide physical healing.

Provide financial restorations.

With Him nothing is impossible (Mark 10:27), and to Him alone be all the glory.

Let us take a look at some of these encouraging stories in the Bible that show us how God will provide, even when we don’t see a way.

God Provided Abraham

Abraham was a faithful man of God, and God found him to be righteous in character.

Miracle Number 1: God blessed and provided Abraham with a son even though he and his wife Sarah were past child bearing age. (Genesis 17:17-19)

Miracle Number 2: When God tested Abraham (Genesis 22:1-2) by asking him to offer up Isaac – his son – as a sacrifice, Abraham was ready to do it. But at the right time, an angel of the Lord stopped Abraham and provided him with a ram as a sacrificial replacement for Isaac. (Genesis 22:11-13)

Miracle Number 3: Abraham followed all of God’s instructions, and he was blessed with riches – livestock, gold and silver. (Genesis 13:2)

This is just one story in which we see how God wants us to be prosperous, but we are to understand that prosperity comes with obeying God and remaining faithful to Him.

For example, in Leviticus God speaks about providing blessings to those who do not worship idols.(Leviticus 26:1)

But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess. Deuteronomy 30:17-18 (ESV)

Instead, God wants us to turn to Him, with all our heart and soul and build a true relationship with Him.

Return to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. Deuteronomy 30:2-3 (ESV)

Blessings When We Obey God

In the book of Deuteronomy, we clearly see what God blesses those who are obedient.

Here we see God talk about financial prosperity to those who are faithful to the voice of the Lord:

  1. The Lord will bless your barns and the land he is giving you (Deuteronomy 28:8)
  2. People around you will notice that you have been called by God (Deuteronomy 28:10)
  3. Prosperity in the fruit of your womb, fruit of your livestock and your ground in the land God provides (Deuteronomy 28:11)
  4. The Lord will bless the work of your hands (Deuteronomy 28:12)
  5. You shall lend money and not borrow (also in Deuteronomy 28:12)
  6. You shall be the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13)

God Will Provide A Way Out

God will provide a way out, into a place of prosperity for the obedient. Until then, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)

In Matthew 6:24-26 Jesus teaches us,

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (ESV)

1 Peter 5:7, tells us to cast all our anxieties on Jesus, because He cares for us.
