When Jesus was tempted by the enemy in the wilderness, He simply used scriptures against his words.
This is Jesus teaching us something.
Bible verses against spiritual warfare are used by believers to submit our ways to God and to resist the enemy. Jesus is the One who sets us free and we use the written word to empower ourselves in Him.
The Bible teaches us that, For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

How do we pray against Spiritual Warfare?
If what we pray for is in alignment with the will of God, our prayers will accelerate our breakthrough, bringing down the plans of the enemy.
1. Praise God Even when Everything is Falling Apart
First, we must always give thanks to God and remember who we are in Christ.
Praising God even when things around you seem to go wrong, is a powerful act of faith. James 2:26 tell us that faith without works is dead. Giving thanks to God even in uncertain times is faith in action.
2. Speak to Your Problem
This secret is revealed by Jesus in the book of Mark.
In Chapter 11, Jesus speaks to a fig tree and tells us to speak to the mountain. These two statements might sound strange at first, but He goes on to explain what He means by this.
➡ Faith + Prayer + Forgiveness
In Mark 11:22 Jesus tells us to have faith in God, and then tells us to speak to the mountain without doubting.
Then in verse 24 He says, whatever we ask in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Finally, Jesus tells us that whenever you pray, if you have anything against anyone, forgive them so that God may also forgive you.
The mountains here are the hurdles and battles that we face in our lives, and this is also mentioned in the Old Testament.
Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” Numbers 20:8
3. Prayer and Fasting
Finally we pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
In Mark 9:17-29, Jesus’ disciples were unable to set free a boy with an unclean spirit. Although in the previous chapters we see that Jesus gave them power and authority to cast them out, they were still unable to do so. When Jesus seeing this, He rebuked the foul spirit and it immediately left the boy.
When the disciples asked Jesus why they were unable to do it, Jesus said two important things:
- First Jesus address their level of faithlessness (Mark 9:19)
- So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.” Mark 9:29 (NKJV)
Prayer Against Spiritual Warfare from the Bible
Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God. 2 Kings 19:19
Heavenly Father, I pray in the name of Jesus for the cancellation of every attack of the enemy over my life. May Your plans over my life be established, that I may be fruitful to do Your work. Father, give me the strength to overcome hardships and difficulties that seem to come in all directions. Although it feels like I am taking ten steps backwards, rather than forwards, I know and believe Your word is true and I stand by it. May I always set my focus on Jesus and not the problem I face. AMEN.
