And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

This one verse above explains the mystery of the entire Gospel in a nutshell:

  1. God became flesh and dwelt among us as a man (Is Jesus God?)
  2. Preached the Good News of Salvation to the Gentiles
  3. So that everyone in the world may believe in Him
  4. Resurrected in glory

1 Timothy Chapter 4

Real Wealth

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6

This is the Chapter that talks about the famous verse – the love of money is the root of all evil (verse 10). Unfortunately, the need for wealth and riches may sometimes cause a person to be led in a wrong direction.

Instead seeking gain in our own strength, we seek the King and His Kingdom.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33

Final Conclusion

Paul ends this letter, covering everything he has spoken in this book.

  3. Do not be caught up in foolish discussions (verses 20-21)
