These are not only easy bible verses to memorize but also powerful scriptures to declare over yourself and your loved ones.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8

Even in the midst of calamity, when we seek God first, He will bestows upon us knowledge, wisdom and blessings.

Sometimes, life circumstances may leave us in confusion and stress without an open door. But there is a door in Jesus Christ and anyone who enters it, will be saved.

I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 10:9

As we humble ourselves and seek His face and turn towards Him in repentance, the Lord is gracious to hear our cry and restore that which is lost.

For His word says,

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

One of the main reasons we memorize scripture is because this is what the Bible tells us to do. There is power in the Word of God, as it is our only source of strength against all that come against us.

In Matthew 4:4, when Jesus was being tempted He said “IT IS WRITTEN”.

We are to follow in the Jesus’ footsteps and memorize verses to declare over temptations, distractions and every negative influence over our lives.

And most of all, we are to humble ourselves before God.
