Heavenly Father,

I come before Your Holy presence in need of a healing from this sickness.

I know that Your power is made perfect in my weakness and I will gladly boast of this (2 Corinthians 12:9). I will not let this sickness dampen my Spirit, as I continue to glorify Your Holy name.

Almighty Father, You know what we need even before we ask (Matthew 6:8). And we know that with You nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37). You are my refuge and I will trust in You at all times (Psalm 62:8).

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise (Jeremiah 17:14). You alone are God, worthy of all the praise, honour and glory. There is no one like You, in Heaven and on Earth. But my body is wearing away and my body is getting weaker by the day.

I do believe in You with all my heart; but give me the radical faith to persevere and help me overcome my unbelief (Mark 9:24).

I am a sinner, and I am not worthy to stand before Your Holy presence, but if You only say the word; I know I will be healed (Matthew 8:8).

Sweet Jesus, when You walked on the face of this Earth, the Bible teaches us that You were proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people (Matthew 4:23).

Please heal my sick body and let me witness a miracle that I may use this testimony to glorify Your Holy name. I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, who is King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen.

Who Did Jesus Heal?

While praying for a healing, it is good to also read scriptures in the Bible of those who received healing.

The Bible tells us that,

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26

While this is not always the case, as miracles also happen according to God’s plan and His timing. But most often, healing is a result of ones own faith in Jesus.

Faith is not just believing in Jesus to heal. But to walk in that belief with joy through every trial.
