By constantly studying the bible start to understand the true nature of God. That is why it is important to not just read the Bible, but to understand the meaning behind every verse.
If you don’t already own a Bible, here is a list of best Bible for beginners to help you decide.
In this world we all face challenges, this is something we have to deal with, because of the sin that came into the world through Adam and Eve. But knowing that God is with us during these circumstances makes all the difference.
This below is a beautiful teaching of Jesus:
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:32-33
God is good and has good things planned for us, though we don’t always see it. He has a good plans for us, and God’s blessings never cease. Yet there are days where we may feel weary and tired of waiting for our blessings.
It is during these difficult times that our true level of faithfulness is revealed.
The story of Joseph in the book of Genesis is a great example of how he waiting patiently for his blessings to be released.
Throughout Joseph’s hardships he continued to be a man of integrity and faithful to God’s promises. This is how are are to be. Even when we are faced with temptations that do not benefit us, it is important to steer away from unwanted distractions that can be a hinderance in our walk with God.
Here is a another teaching of Jesus to inspire you:
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Luke 6:32-35
This Bible verse is a good teaching on how to love those who are hard to love, or to do good to those who are not going to return the kindness. It’s the same way with praise.
It’s when you praise God during your most difficult season, you may experience breakthroughs and blessings.
If you look at the broader picture, there is nothing that can come from worrying about the problems in our lives.
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Matthew 6:27
Why Do We Need to Praise God?
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
To understand this, we need to understand the purpose of life.
Why are we created?
Who created us and for what purpose?
God created us in His likeness so that we may follow in His commandments of honouring Him and loving one another.
Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. Matthew 22:36-39
When we are able to praise God even when things go bad, we are being good examples of God’s people – the light of the world.
Not only are we comforting our own soul with the goodness of God, but we are also being a joy to others who can see the good works of God in us.
As we read and reflect on the psalms of praise, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude and worship in our lives. They encourage us to focus on the goodness of God and to trust in his unfailing love and faithfulness.
Importance of Praising God and Worship

Together, praising God and worship can create a powerful atmosphere of love and reverence that can transform your relationship with Him.
